"Benefit concert for murdered teen Seath Jackson"

OCALA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A community came together to remember 15-year-old Seath Jackson and raise money for his family. It was a little over a month ago that investigators say he was tortured and murdered in Summerfield.
Local bands organized a benefit concert Friday night, called "Rock for S.E.A.T.H," which they say stands for "selfless entertainment alternative to hatred." The concert was held inside of the Parish Hall at the Blessed Trinity Church in Ocala.

"VBR, Kelly-Lynn and Jullian to break some hearts at mall concert 8/29/10"

On Sunday night, the Paddock Mall is hosting a three-tiered, all-ages rock-and-pop concert. Depending on its success, the mall may host more of these concerts, offering a periodic nightlife to a huge demographic that enjoys the mall day life.
Here's what really matters: rock band Victory Bound Rival, pop singer Kelly-Lynn and — prepare yourselves, ladies — Jullian and the Hearthrob Heroes will perform Sunday night. All three acts have a lot going on and, certainly, hefty local followings.
Victory Bound Rival offers a much heavier sound and targets late teens, 20s and beyond. Descended from Ocala band Haneda, VBR is an original rock band with a metal edge that has attracted much attention among venues in North-Central Florida, and beyond. Members are Colton Woodard, Chester Pigeon, Kevin Morse and Dalton Woodard.
Kevin Morse, by the way, is the son of famed guitarist — and Ocala resident — Steve Morse.
Check out all three acts and their sounds on MySpace.
Music starts at 7 p.m. Sunday with VBR, followed by Kelly-Lynn. Jullian and the Hearthrob Heroes will close the show, with their set expected to start around 8:30 p.m. Admission is $8.
