Being involved in many bands before (guitarist/Vocalist) Vaughn Bannister felt led to pursue music for the L-rd that has a positive message and is not cliche, being well rounded in many styles playing in orchestras, hip-hop, post hardcore, jazz, etc. The writing style greatly reflects that. In orchestra Vaughn and (Vocalist,Drummer,Cellist)Angelea Torralva, met only a few months later to continue on the band Victory! Victory!. Vaughn and Angelea started out playing various acoustic sets and open mics in Grand Rapids MI, until coming across a friend Rodrigo Ortiz (lead guitarist in the band "Wake Up Call") to fill in on bass.
Early in fall of 2011 the band recorded its first two singles "Like Trees" and "Simple Love" and after finding began to play many shows as an electric three piece in west michigan and extended to Chicago.
Victory! Victory! is looking to do much in the up and coming year of 2012
