Vienna is a punk/rock Group formed by five youngsters from Bruges. In the winter of 2009 they made their entrance in the music industry. The group had a great start in the spring of 2010 when they released a strong debut EP called "Arrows". The song "Life in Progress" did very well in the Dirty Thirty list on the growing internet radio Villa Bota. "Arrows" had great reviews in several Belgian magazines.

“Not only vocally is this album very strong, also musically did the group put in a great effort, time and patience. Interesting melodies and a strong rhythm section are making this EP a must-have for punk/rock lovers.” -

"When we heard Vienna for the First time at RMP, we knew immediately that these band would raise the bar in Belgium.” -

"The songs on this EP are intense, inciting and intimate at the same time. They are all real hits. ‘Arrows’ is material to win ‘the newcomer of the year’.” -

Also, their latest song "Eenie Meenie" which is a cover of the great Justin Bieber, takes a very good run. The song also floats around on top of the Dirty Thirty list on Villa Bota and a few weeks after the release of the musicvideo on YouTube, TMF (Belgian major TV music station, part of MTV networks) puts it on air on a daily basis. This music video also attracted Maurice Engelen (known from Praga Kahn and Lords of Acid) and Bart Becks (former CEO of Belgacom TV and Skynet) who recently formed the new, innovative record label SonicAngel.

Now Vienna is going full throttle for a new year of music, shows and friendship. They're now concentrating on songwriting for a new album, which will be released winter 2011/2012.
