Vijay Raju is an Atlanta-based hip hop artist of Indian descent. Beginning his musical escapades in 2009, his debut project "The Life and Times of Vijay Raju" was released in the summer of 2012, and was described as an emotional blend of conscious lyricism and pop sensibilities.
Vijay Rajus first single, Yellow Lines, was featured on Atlantas Top 40 station Q100 which lead to performances at Wild 96.1s Holiday Bash, as well as dozens of shows across the Atlanta area. Known for his charismatic stage presence intertwined with thought-provoking lyricism, Vijay Raju's music has been promoted extensively, featured in blogs, concerts, and publications spanning the southeast region.
Over the last year, Vijay Raju has been earning respect as an emcee with a distinct sound and a genuine passion and intellect evident in the music he creates.
In September 2013 Vijay released his latest project "R.U.iN" which discusses the effects of materialism and media on aspiring artists from both subjective and objective views. Vijay is currently promoting "R.U.iN" which has been recieving much praise.
