Bio

Viktor was born in Budapest, Hungary. Viktor began learning methodically guitar playing in 1991 from Zsolt Bende jazz guitarist. In 1994 he learnt classical guitar in the National Music School and two years later he started to learn theory of music from the classical piano teacher: Miklós Holló. From 1999 to 2001 he attended the music lessons of Tamás Szekeres rock guitarist and later applied for the technical course of Sándor Szabó acoustic guitar player and guitar system expert. After this he learned jazz standards from Tibor Eichinger and during this period he studied from music theory books especially of János Gonda’s.

At the beginning of his music carrier he played with his progressive rock band ’Haemocultura’ then with ’Novo’ at different club concerts and at the Island (Sziget) Festival. He made studio works beyond his own demo CD to the programming and recording of Mike Szula’s guitar debute CD. He assisted some group’s recording and arrangement with sequencer programmes. Then he joined to gospel music scene and played in well-known christian music productions e.x.: noted ’Tamas Pajor and his friends’ tour in the main towns of Hungary. He participated at charity events (concert and gift division to poor people in the local sports hall) and at drog prevention presentations in high schools to share christian values through his musical talent. In 2010 he made his copyright edition ’Acoustic Creation’ and he played at different points of Hungary with this album.

In 2011 he founded the ’Spring av New’ fusion trio with Gábor Szende and Miklós Szula. This trio played in Croatia, Italy, France and Hungary. During this time he made a smooth jazz album: Purple Eight and created a fusion maxi: The H-Cult. In 2012 he visited many jazz clubs in Paris to study the jazz life there. After this he turned his seat from Paris to London and started to organize his new group.
