Vile Existence

Formed in June 2008 with Rick Berringer and his sons Kyle (17) and Justin (14), Vile Existence was born. Starting out just to have fun and do the “Family Jam”, it soon became clear that something special was taking place. Seriousness took over and after countless hours of creating riffs, adapting drum tracks, and writing lyrics, completing the lineup became the focus. Enter Bassist Patrick Grulke (16). An aspiring guitarist and family friend, Patrick set aside the 6 string to bring the thud the group needed. With their brutal sound in place, the search for a sick vocalist followed. After a brief, but memorable stint with Joey Mendoza, who had to leave the band for personal reasons, came the emergence of Nathan Cook. Nathan, their cousin, fit in perfectly with his gut wrenching growls and energetic stage presence to complete the lineup.

With the release of their first demo in Jan. 2009, Vile Existence is determined to show that there still is true, original metal and will stop at nothing to prove it.
