Bio
Singer-songwriter Vili V (Vili Verhovsek) delivers a dynamic blend of rock ‘n’ roll, country and gospel-infused vocals to uplift audiences. At 17, Vili won the Collingwood Elvis Festival championship and ranked in the Top 10 at the YTV Achievement Awards. He has shared stages with Canadian rock icon Ronnie Hawkins, country legend George Hamilton IV and comedian Russell Peters. He’s also headlined the same shows as Elvis Presley’s original vocal group, the Jordanaires. Vili has written for TV Guide and was featured in Beacon Magazine for his latest album, The Journey. His debut album, Indigo Blue, was released through EMI.
The Buzz:
“Where his art truly resides is in that voice, which is truly gifted – versatile, expressive and extremely agile.” – The Hamilton Spectator
“He is very reminiscent of Roy Orbison. I'm not really sure what impressed me most, his amazing voice or the beautiful melodies he sang.”
- Canadian Country Music Guitar Player of The Year - Wendell Ferguson
“Vili Verhovsek… crooned a miraculous duplicate of the King’s How Great Thou Art.”
- The Toronto Sun
“Vili V is a musical performer that is second to none. Night after night the audience is constantly mesmerized by his voice, music, and showmanship.
- Comedian - Victor J Hanson
