Villains

Villains is an indie rock/pop band founded in 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. The band consists of Yvette Adams (Vocals/Piano) and Ivan Hernandez (Guitar). Hernandez originally started the project in 2009. He worked with a number of different singers and musicians until forming Villains as a trio in 2012. After multiple years of training in Musical Theater, Adams, tired of performing songs written for and by other people, began writing and performing as a solo artist around the Phoenix area. Hernandez and then drummer of Villains spotted Adams playing at an art walk in Mesa, AZ and immediately recruited her for the project. The trio released their debut EP entitled Words in the spring of 2013. Shortly after releasing their music video for the song 'Don't Fight', Adams and Hernandez parted ways with their drummer in the summer of 2013 and are now pursuing a more experimental approach to their new release.
