The Brand:  Gypsy Funk is a world that I’ve created for people like me, the wanderers, the ones who has decided to “get down” to the beat of their own drum while others march. The optimistic; Those who feel a certain urgency to be free and live life dancing through oppositions with joy in their hearts. Even when all seems to be lost and we don’t have much, the music we bring makes us feel like we’re heading in the right direction. This music has become a safe haven for us and the soundtrack to our lives. The more we grow we find more people like us, and we invite them to join us on our journey and quest for freedom.
 The Band:  I am Vincena (vin-see-na) Yes I am a solo artist but Gypsy Funk us, the entire band as a collective, the people who helped create the sound. I Bring the Lyrics and they bring the Sonics and together we create the atmosphere. I think of us as like Glitter every tiny shiny piece has is own special shine. The compounds of a Black Female Violinist & a Black Female Bassist & a Rocker Guitarist creates a complex sound that can only uniquely be called Gypsy Funk.
 The Genre:  It is an eclectic blend of Gypsy Jazz & Funky Soul. A melting pot of sounds inspired by History, Culture and Style. A fuse of Chaka Khan Rufus & Fleetwood Mac in 2019. Something Like a brand new Vintage Car, it’s a smooth ride.
