Bio
Vincent Bernay is a multi award-winning french guitarist/songwriter, who is also known for producing samples, loops and radio shows on his website, free-samples-n-loops.com.
His music can be described as a fusion of electronic, New Age, acoustic and rock.
Vincent began studying musical theory and classical guitar at the age of seven while attending the Angers school of music.
He grew up under the influences of such grunge music bands as Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana. Inspired, he started playing electric guitar and writing his first compositions.
He later was influenced by electronic artists like Fat Boy Slim, Massive Attack, and New Age artists like Loreena McKennit.
Since July 2006, Vincent has devoted all his time to making music in his own home studio, mixing live vocals and acoustic sounds with electronic instruments.
In 2006, his song 'Around' was a finalist in the Independent Music Awards (New Age category), and a semi-finalist in the UK songwriting contest (electronic category).
