Biography

Born and raised in Montreal, Vincent Cifarelli began studying classical piano at the age of six. After High School he attended Vanier College where he majored in classical and jazz piano in the music program. He then completed a Bachelor's Degree in music with a minor in English Literature at McGill University, graduating in 2001. Cifarelli has written and arranged for jazz trio and big band formats as well as orchestrated for small ensemble. As well as having written dozens of pop and r&b songs Cifarelli is in the process of completing his full length electronic/lounge album which will be released in the fall or winter of 2007 under the Bridge of Hands label. He is currently the keyboardist for his brother Dominic's guitar heavy progressive rock band “The Chronicles of Israfel." The album, entitled "Starborn," is available now.
