Vinci Carson

Born in 1995 on January 11th as DaJuan Brown in the state of Arizona, “Vinci Carson” was never foreign to moving around. As a kid he was raised in the city of sins, lights and drugs — Las Vegas, NV. He wanted to introduce himself, to tell people the story of living on the blocks of Annie Oakley. Determined to set himself apart, he was never one to try and fit in with the crowd or become popular, most times he was over looked as a person. Around ’08, moving to Atlanta, GA he was introduced to rap and wanted to rap but couldn't find a way into it. Extending an open hand and helping some local friends, he decided to work with them, giving a place to record, a mic to record on and some friendly mentoring. Seeing his friends do it, he thought it would be a good way to express how he felt about certain topics, so he wrote too. After hearing his own lyrics being played, he felt as if he had an empowering message behind it. Remembering his inspirations, one of his biggest influences in the beginning was Lil Wayne, his style, flow, lyrics all brought DaJuan closer to music. Becoming who he is today, an artist, He wanted to tell the girls and boys who are unspoken for they are not invisible and will be heard. Vinci Carson wants to bring real Hip-Hop with a modern day atmosphere attached.
