Feeling a bit camera shy

Officially beginning their Reggaeton musical career in 2003 the two came together by mere chance. A high school friend set up a local show, in their home town of Boston MA, and asked the two if they could collaborate on a few songs together with other well known artists to hype up the crowd. They agreed, and with their artistic abilities they energized the crowd and realized their potential.

Not long after, the two where writing songs and found themselves performing at more local parties. Their nicknames eventually transformed as Vinny & Dinky formulating the dynamic duo. After receiving such a positive response from high school students throughout Boston, they began to network with other local artists, and producers in which it leveraged their music career to mainstream, and the urban scene. In no time they were opening acts for Reggaeton superstars such as: Wisin Y Yandel, Zion Y Lenox, Ivy Queen and making appearance in other cities and states.

Unfortunately, in 2005 the duo had to take a break. Vinny had plans to join the armed forces while Dinky wanted to continue his studies, and the two parted. They left always knowing that there hearts would always be in the music business and one day they would be back. That one day happen to come in the year 2009. But not before releasing two sensational singles “Esto Es Amor” and “ Y Por Eso”. These two singles done through emails and long trips back and fourth allowed Vinny & Dinky to maintain a presence in the local Reggaeton market.

Picking up where they left off, the sensational duo Vinny & Dinky is back at it again stronger, and better than ever before. Fusion together a combination of Reggaeton, Reggae, R&B , and Hip-Hop the duo released a semi-album titled “ A La Llegada” or “Upon Arrival”. Releasing hits such as “Princesita”, “Provocala”, and “Tu Corazon”. This semi-album is a representation of the dynamic duo’s abilities to make “feel good” music. Their music transpires into the new wave of Reggaeton listeners, both English and Spanish, a perfect addition to the Latin Urban music genre.
There is no telling where the two will go from, but what is known is that listeners have always fallen in love with at least one song, and for that Vinny Dinky will always have a great appreciation for those who listen and continue to make “feel good music.”
