Debut Album - Disturbing the Balance

Music is a gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted. Strip away the trendy clothes, the fancy hair, and the rock star attitudes, and what you have left is the song. A song that should take you on a trip of emotion, whether it be sad, happy, angry, lonely or comforted, when that song is over you should feel connected to the artist creating it. Now look at the music scene we have before us today, mostly cookie cutter music that seems to only concentrate on the clothes, hair, and attitude. Vintage Burning is here to give you back that gift of song.

Disturbing the Balance, their latest release due out November 2009, featuring Ames with brilliantly clever lyrics, brought across with beautiful melody and monstrous screams. Jason, on guitar, takes you back to a time when guitar wasn’t just chugging and palm mutes, it was an instrument of melody in itself. Mickey’s thunderous bass reminds you that a song needs groove and feeling, and Korey is the animal on the kit that brings it all together. This album will take you on a wild ride that will bring out all those feelings you want to feel when something or someone moves you. It’s beautiful and ugly. It’s happy and sad. It’s terrifying and calming. It’s disturbing the balance. It’s the culmination of two years of hard work, sweat, and tears, and we are very proud of it. So here it is, recorded and engineered by Shane Hochstetler at Howell Street Recordings, and mastered by Trevor Sadler at Mastermind Productions, we hope it helps raise people’s expectations of what music should be, instead of just accepting what is.
