Vanilla Monk is the vision of Matt Farr and Craig Stevens. Both of these musician/songwriter/producers are looking to release their first full album of original music. The collaborative process of this album has given it a unique blend of electronic and acoustic sounds. Studio sessions including the dynamic vocals of Audrey Assad and world class drumming of Matt Crowning bring the music to life. Farr and Stevens have been writing and performing together over the past 5 years around the south florida area. Performances include Sunfest, one of South Florida's largest music festivals. After holding down the bass and keys for Vinyl Circus in 2006 (myspace.com/vinylcircus) both decided to focus strictly on recording their original music starting the beginning of the year. Look for the cd release around April 2007.
