Rock Star - released independently (2003)

It has almost been five years since the formation of Vinyldrive and they show no signs of slowing down. The Greenville, SC based trio has recently been putting the finishing touches on their latest release which promises to be the best yet. The band continues to deliver solid well crafted songs reminiscent of their first release with a gained sense of maturity. Their first release “Rock Star” quickly became an underground success with over 4,000 copies distributed independently. It also made the song “Beautiful” a favorite of the regional indie rock scene.

Vinyldrive is also no stranger to the stage either. They have performed in countless venues such as Magnolia Street Pub, countless shows at Greenville’s very own Handlebar, and at the Masquerade in Atlanta as a showcasing artist for the 2004 Atlantis Music Conference to name a few. Their stage show brings a fun vibe to the venue that is definitely all about a good time.
