Vinyl Secrets is a pop duo that combines sultry vocals with a soulful atmosphere and smooth beats. Listeners are captured by Alexandra Thomson's jazzy vocal melodies infused with Justin Pelan's electro-synth inspired undertones. Vinyl Secrets is inspired by artists such as Sade, Erykah Badu, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Lauryn Hill, Lorde, Banks, Zero 7, Solange, PartyNextDoor, and Ellie Goulding.
The duo can also perform acoustically, with Pelan on guitar and Thomson on vocals. Her luxuriant voice cascades through the room, causing listeners to feel an inner sway as she glides up and down the smooth melodies while Pelan’s guitar, quick yet subtle, adds an element of bluesy jazz to back her voice.
