Violet Fusion's powerful and mesmerizing sound has captivated audiences wherever they've performed. The Electric Violin-led group generates instant attention and interest with their unique fusion of pop, rock, classical, and original music.

Biography

Combining the classical purity of the violin with modern effects and licks usually heard only on guitar - Violet Fusion's sound is truly unique, yet universally appealing. Featuring a trio of electric violinists led by Victoria Yeh, the band is completed with live drums, keys, guitar and bass. Performing material from current pop hits, classic rock, classical music and unique original works, Violet Fusion pushes the limits of a classical instrument into the modern and progressive realm.

Victoria is no stranger to the stage, having appeared across Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa at venues such as the International Street Circus Festival, the Edmonton Fringe Festival, Toronto’s Style on the Street Festival, Winspear Centre for the Arts, Massey Hall, The Toronto Centre for the Arts, the Glenn Gould Theatre, Eaton Centre, Ikea, Red's Entertainment, the Sidetrack Café, Café Dekcuf and El Mocambo.

In addition to an active performance career, Victoria has also recorded with Edmonton's alternative rock bands, Twentyfold and Ants on a Log; Toronto’s original rock/pop group, About The Music; Ottawa’s rock group Nameless Faces, Emma's Ringer and Toronto's Andrew Cole among others.

Young or old, audiences are unanimous in their surprise and attraction to Violet Fusion's music.
