"Violet Vendetta"

Diversity with a distinct sound is the best way to describe this band from East Sussex England who got their start back in 2004.
An electic mix of musical influences aides in the variety of sound that comes out in their music. Squashing the musical category/genre label they leave the decision completely up to the listener to make their own determination of what to call it.

One has to marvel at the skill level and work ethic of this band after coming to realise that they have only been at this a short 4 years.
during their time as a band they have endured multiple line-up changes but have still pressed on doing what they do best, making original rock music.

The current line up is: Edie V: Guitars,
Tommy Vendetta: Drums, backing vocals
Willy: Bass
Red V Saunders: Vocals

Their first EP "Extreme Daydream" was recorded during spring/summer of 2006.
In 2007 they began work on their home recorded album "Enter Geisha"
The upcoming album features the single "Omaha Beach" which comes from the perspective of a soldier that is writing a letter home during WWII.
"The Possibility of the Impossible" is set to be the next release.

Bio

We came together in 2004, almost by chance or accident. we didnt know what kind of music we wanted to play, instead we brang little bits of our biggest influences and merged them together to create something that we believe is entirely new.
we've played many gigs at our local venues and have gained quite a substantial fanbase, which has now expanded to a worldwide fanbase with the extension of myspace.
we did whatever it took to get us from gig to gig as the years went on, such as stacking our equipment into 2 small cars and driving 20 miles then having to make a second trip for the rest of the gear.
we played our first festival in 2005, it was small with a capicity of about 300, we were the first band on and had some ep's for sale-which were all sold.
as we've grown as a band we've tried to be more and more professional with our work and ethic.
we organise everything we do and do our best to make sure everything is right.
