LORD YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE WITH HIM

It’s been sometime since we walked down that aisle
Tend to pick my country boy’s just a little bit wild
Now with 3 kids and a dog
He made our home out of cedar log
From where he scrapes a living, Lord only knows

We live off the land and he loves to rodeo
Come a rain or shine he’s always on the go
I tuck the children in at night,
And then I turn out the light
I always ask you Lord please keep him in your sight…oh but Lord…

Chorus:
You don’t have to live with him, forgive me
for complainin’
You know his every whim, why you created
him
So you must know he’s a wreak,
He is my fun lovin’ maniac
To tell the truth Lord I’ve been blessed,
I really must confess.

He saw the last food on our shelf, was some beans and corn.
He was packed and gone eight days, come early morn.
I suppose I should have screamed,
Maybe preached or gotten mean
But it was darn the biggest buck I’ve ever seen, thanks Lord…but Chorus:

Bridge:
And when he holds me in the night
He promises that things will work out right
And we cuddle up and pray
That the Lord will bless us another day…
oh but Lord…

Chorus:
You don’t have to live with him, forgive me
for complainin’
You know his every whim, why you created
him
So you must know he’s a wreck
He is my fun lovin’ maniac
To tell the truth Lord I’ve been blessed…
I really must confess
In truth Lord I’ve been blessed…
You gave me your best.

lord you dont have to live with him.
