This new exciting artist’s debut album: ‘Welcome to my world,’ relates to us all as it speaks of life and the things we experience. “Life can be pretty awesome but sometimes it’s just a bloody nightmare and at times all we want is a little understanding or for someone out there to know what we’re going through”.

His music has a combination of genres and styles. Certain songs feature the Spanish guitar as well as the Indian Sitar and Tabla. The piano backed ballads take you on a journey to the 80’s, with the guitars reminding you of the 70’s. “I missed most of the 80’s. I grew up listening to the Eagles, Bee Gees, Santana, Bad Company, Simon and Garfunkel, just to name a few. I listened to pretty much whatever my Father listened to. The little 80’s I did listen to was from the girl next door that was about ten years my senior…that didn’t stop me from having a crush on her!”

With regards to his music, Vishaun is very humble. Being the new kid on the block he realizes he has a long way to go, “I started writing as a hobby and it somehow flourished into an album. I’m by no means the greatest singer or songwriter out there. I’m just a guy doing his thing. I figure if I like my songs, then there will be others who may like them and if I can make a buck out of it, then why not? I’d like to keep on writing and singing. Life is such that there are so many interesting things to write about.”
