The original Vision Band, now the new and improved Vision 2000 is a six (6) - member group that has been on the Antiguan scene for the past 24 years

The Band has undergone several line up changes over the years. The Present Members of the Band are Tyrone “Edimelo” Thomas Band leader & Samantha Browne “ Vocals“, Kemba Browne“ Keyboards, Cleo foster Browne Guitar”, Wayne Nathaniel “Bass player”, Arwin Christian“ Drums” Abbott “ Engineer”.

The band is more recognized for its contribution to Antigua’s annual summer festival; however, local soca success has not overshadowed the band’s ability to deliver some powerful messages via the reggae medium. It must be noted to that the band is not only restricted to playing just calypso, soca or reggae but can cater to an international audience as well.

From the inception the band has gone from strength to strength. From being principally a Carnival band to touring to appearing in major reggae shows including - Jamaica’s Reggae Sun Splash in 1991 and being a supporting act for reggae giants such as - the late Dennis Browne, Coco Tea, Ziggy Marley, Freddie McGregor to name a few.

Vision 2000 Inc. is also well known in the Eastern Caribbean and further a field. The band has visited the UK four times and has played at Europe’s biggest Carnival Notting Hill.

Vision 2000 Inc. has recorded 16 albums to date, the most successful being “JAM DEM” in 1994 when they won the coveted “Road March Title “for that year.

As far as the future is concerned, the group is working hard to take the music and its performance to the next level. Vision 2000 Inc, will take the music on the road this year,we are in the process of planning our Caribbean and North Amrican Tour 2010 -2011
