Vision Bravo

Vision Bravo

Vision Bravo's sound can be described like a colorful blend of jazz, funk, psychedelic, hip-hop, and the like, with improvisation, spontaneity, and heavy dark trippy grooves abound.

Vision Bravo is the name given to Boris Ivanov's solo keyboard projects. Boris is a piano performance major at Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, NJ.

Boris's keyboard rig focuses more on vintage instruments and analog synths than modern digital instruments. Someone listening to the band play will hear the nostalgic sounds of Hammond organs, Rhodes pianos, analog synthesizers, clavinets, and of course, the grand piano.

Vision Bravo'ss main influences include bands like Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Praxis, Primus, Pink Floyd, Phish, jazz greats like Oscar Peterson and Herbie Hancock, old-school funk like Parliament, and many many more.
