Today, performance and composition in the jazz idiom continue to be the major focal point of his efforts. Chuck creates and records contemporary jazz that combines full-bodied instrumentation with solid urban groove. His playing style has been compared to Herbie Hancock, Jeff Lorber and Bob James. Throughout his career, Chuck has performed as a solo artist and with a wide variety of groups spanning many genres. These include: jazz trios, quartets, big band orchestras, adult contemporary rock and cover bands. In addition, Chuck’s keyboard experience includes studio session work and college jazz clinics with Dizzy Gillespie and Clark Terry.
