The best kept secret in music

"Music - Vision Quest"

"Vision Quest...go out and see these guys. The CD is fantastic, well produced, well recorded, and has not disappointed me. It's still in my CD player in the Car. Their show is very at the very least. You WILL leave exhausted." - Michael Van Gelder, Gelderland Productions - Gelderland Productions

Feeling a bit camera shy

"That which does not kill us, only makes us stronger"..... In 2004, New Jersey native brothers PJ, Patrick, and Andrew Murray began writing the music that would become the signature VISION QUEST sound. Later that year, the band would hook up with Brazillian born vocalist Diego Quiroz and the lineup was complete. What followed was a year-long relentless schedule of writing, rehearsing, and recording. Since then, the band has made quite an impact on the Orlando music scene with their unique brand of dynamic, high-energy, passionately driven hard rock. The origins of VISION QUEST actually date back to the year 1993, when guitarist Patrick(still in high school at the time!) and drummer PJ formed their first band PAYMESS DUKE. Influenced by the likes of Van Halen, Rush, Metallica, and Dream Theater the band made a name for themselves on the Jersey/Philly/New York circuit by playing shows at such clubs as the Trocadero, the Middle East, the Barbary, and the legendary CBGB's. Tired of a flooded market and the long cold winters, the brothers(now with brother Andrew (bass) in the band) decided it was time to head south to sunny Orlando, Florida in the summer of 2002. Two years later, ironically enough through a myspace ad, the band met up with singer extraordianairre Diego Quiroz. Quiroz had been singing in and out of bands since age 13, and after one impromtu jam session, the boys realized they had found their frontman. With influences ranging from metal to jazz, alternative to reggae, and even opera, VISION QUEST is proving that they are far above what is considered to be the norm in rock music these days.
