Vitaly K

Vitaly Konstantinopolski (born June 29th, 1988 in Kharkov, Ukraine), primarily known by his stage name Vitaly K, is a rapper and songwriter. Vitaly and his family were political refugees who fled the former Soviet Union fearing persecution. Post immigration proved difficult but the dream of becoming a famous musician provided an outlet and escape from reality. Best known for his powerful delivery and emotionally driven lyrics, he brings a new persona to the music industry that is bound to turn heads. After landing his first single on local radio in South Florida at the age of 16, a hobby became a career and his pursuit for the top rung of the Hip Hop ladder began. Three years and two albums later, Vitaly K released his prized mixtape “Russian Roulette” hosted by DJ Smallz, the creator of the popular Southern Smoke mixtape circuit. He shocked listeners and exceeded expectations of people who didn’t expect much from an artist of his background. With his up-tempo energetic sound, his controversial lyrics, and his Russian influence, he has the potential to dominate the world market. After signing a production deal with Tunepusher LLC and working exclusively with Atlanta producer Justin Kahler, he released his first EP “The Last Czar” in January 2011. His new EP “Universe” will be released June 2013.
