Bio
Vito Brown, a hip hop lyricist has single handedly raised the bar for unsigned artist, present and future.
Born Vernon Buckle in the Washington DC area, Vito was raised in a single family home by his mother. At age 9, he turned to writing and performing as a way of expressing himself. After occasionally sharing his talent of writing and performing with close friends, and receiving an overwhelming amount of positive support...the seed was planted. Vito realized that his lyrical talent was something he wanted to explore.
Although faced with a series of untimely tragic events, beginning in 2002, 2006, and yet again in 2010 Vito's quest for obtaining success in the music industry did not wavier. They stood as a foundation for what is now his everyday determination, drive and consistency. He continues to work tirelessly at mastering his craft, which to date, has only scratched the surface of his never ending talents.
As a triple degree holder, he continues to keep education first by mentoring and encouraging youth through his motto, "I Live My Dream".
Vito names such artist as Jay-z, T.I, Lil Wayne and the late Notorious B.i.g as his musical influences.
Through visually explosive lyrics which leaves listeners wanting more, "Vito Brown is undeniably among hip hop artisty at its best". With tracks like "Dope Flow", "So Cool", "I Am the President", and "Priceless" his music reaches both underground and mainstream hip hop. He has worked with noted mainstream djs such as Nick Jetson, Ray Voight and Dj. Quicksilvia as well as dj heavyweights like Dj Bless, Dj Gemini, Dj Joe and Ra Ra the the Party Starter, with performance venues from the DMV area to St. Louis.
As if that was not enough, in 2008 Vito established a record label, Tha Bank Entertainment (LLC 2010) and is currently the spokesperson for the Freshea Clothing, with plans to have name universally branded.
