Vitosus

The four piece hard rock band with the misspelled Latin name began formation back in late 2008, and upon completion of the band in late 2009 they began playing live shows both local and regional. They have rocked many shows in their short time of existence, hitting many accolades in their first two years, including opening for national acts like Janus (REALID/ILG Records), Seaons After (Dirtbag Records), opening AND headlining for numerous large regional acts, as well as winning numerous local battle of bands. They have been through trials both good and bad throughout their journey so far, and those experiences have made Vitosus the vivid young band that they are today. Stemming from these collected life experiences is their self released studio EP ‘Conflicted’, recorded at Catamount Studios and produced/mixed/mastered by Grammy nominated producer Tom Tatman (Stone Sour) set for release in May of 2011. This CD not only lives up to the standards of today’s industry, but brings forth an exciting new sound and proves to be the overall statement from the band’s attempt at entry into the mainstream music world. With attitude and emotion heard in every note, all 5 tracks on the EP appeal to the average go-getting listener and have “hit single” capability.
