Mine’s a refugee story. It's also an All-American tale, equal parts sea salt and wheat fields.
Inspired by the rich tradition of master storytellers such as Steinbeck, Fitzgerald, and Faulkner, and songsmiths like The Beatles, The Stones, and Ryan Adams, the Vi Tran Band crafts textured and introspective folk, pop, and rock songs.
A tapestry of literature and melody, these slice-of-life stories are about landlocked sailors and broken lovers. They're about buried secrets and excavation. They explore loss and discovery. Most of all, they're about hope.
