The Bronx Dominican Day Parade is one of the biggest annual events for the Dominican community in the U.S., it is a platform of pride and recognition for Dominicans. In 2003, the Bronx Dominican Day Parade attracted 1,200,000 attendees and this year event planners expect 2,000,000. The parade will include live broadcasts on NYC TV Channel 74, Bronxnet Channels 67, 68, 69 and 70 and in the Dominican Republic by Digital 15, Telemicro Channel 5 and Microvission Dominicana Channel 10. Print outlet coverage includes the Daily News, Hoy, El Diario La Prensa, La republica, El Taxista News, El Vocero de Puerto Rico and many other outlets in the Latin community.
Vivienne’s performance in the parade is one of many events she will be performing in over the summer. Warranting demand from New York City to Miami, this sultry and tenacious artist will be performing in Lazy Boy Productions’ annual summer blast on July 31st in a private Hamptons mansion, followed by a live performance August 8th on Miami’s hottest Latin television show, Mun2’s “The Roof.” By invite only, Lazy Boy’s party will entertain 2,000 VIP guests representing trendsetters from fashion, sports, marketing, advertising, public relations and other influential industries. Hot 97.1’s own DJ Enuff and Nice & Smooth will add to the evening’s entertainment.
A unique and gifted talent, Vivienne is on her way to superstardom as an R&B performer. “Vivienne’s performance at our pre-party this year at Show Nightclub was beyond our expectations. Over the span of my career, I have held events with the music industry’s top talent for such clients as The New York Yankees and Miller, I have never seen an artist captivate and motivate the audience as powerfully as Vivienne. With her combination of talent, beauty and charisma, I am confident she will be the industry’s next big thing and I will say ‘I knew her when…’ ” said John Lim, Founder of OnSite Marketing (www.onsitemarketing.net ).

Bio

“With age comes experience” and “Youth is wasted on the young” – these are two quotes that do not fit Vivienne in any shape or form. This young Dominican singer/actress/dancer/model has achieved more than most people do in a lifetime.

Influenced by the industry’s cardinal R&B vocalists -- Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, La India and Faith Evans -- Vivienne’s broad musical range from R&B, hip-hop to dance music has been attracting the attention of the music industry’s heavyweights. Although Vivienne’s commanding riffs have been compared to Faith Evans, T-Boz and Brandy, her unique style and vocal prowess cannot be mistaken. She has honed her craft with two of the industry’s leading vocal trainers, Craig Derry and Clurel Henderson. Reaching within the depths of her soul and real life experiences, her lyrical truths reflect her joys and pains in love and life.

Vivienne started chasing her dream early on in life. She got her first big break dancing on one of America’s most popular dance shows, MTV’s-“The Grind.” Her five-year stint as a featured dancer on the show led to modeling work, music videos, television and movies. When C&C Music Factory was embarking on a tour, Freedom Williams selected Vivienne to replace Zelma Davis as a lead vocalist and she toured for 2 1/2 years domestically and internationally. This stint included performances in nightclubs, radio stations and soundstages in front of audiences up to 10,000 people. The exposure brought Vivienne’s talent to the forefront and her fan base was established. When the legendary Chubby Checker formed a new hip-hop group, “Chubby C and O.D.”, Vivienne was immediately retained by his team. Currently, she is featured in Latin Platinum recording artist Fragancia’s (formerly of the group DLG – Sony) CD “Llego La Fraga!”

Although Vivienne enjoys performing with the industry’s elite, she is out as a solo act and is bringing her dream of sharing her gift with the world into reality. She has proven her ability in acting and modeling but her first true love is music.
