Vliot is a music & sound art band from Puerto Rico whose music defies easy categorization but has elements that resemble Rock, Jazz and Electronica. More specifically, Post Rock, Nu-Jazz and Ambient Electronica. The band's musical output can be compared to acts like Tortoise, Autechre and Stereolab.
The band consists of Fabian Wilkins on the keys, Alejandro Laboy plays the upright bass, Eduardo Ortiz plays the Gitar and Haziel.
Vliot first started by the name of hE (humanERROR) back in 2002, formed by FabianWilkins for art exhibitions performances. Right after that hE meets Alejandro Laboy (Bass Player) and they continued to make electronic avangard music in colaboration with the best musicians from Puerto Rico. They play in all the most important music and art festivals in Puerto Rico. Have recorded 5 albums in the last 6 years. In 2007 they go on a tour all across Europe. Right now Vliot has 4 members witch makes their music an always changing style because each member is a composer and artist. Vliot is formed by FabianWilkins (Keys, Vocals, electronics) Alejandro Laboy (Electric and acoustic Bass electronics), Eduardo Ortiz (Gtr) and Haziel Acosta (Drums).
