Volatile Colour

Volatile Colour is a Mexican quartet originally based out of border town, Laredo, Texas but in the process of relocating to Boston, Massachusetts.

Having no musical background, the band initially came together over their interest in musical/music in video games. After attempting to simulate the sounds that the games produced on real instruments, they band took an unexpected turn and became more serious when they developed an passionate interest in crafting their own sounds.

From this point on the quartet underwent serious growth in terms of show, production and life experience allowing them to craft a solid alternative/experimental pop sound which led to the self production of one full length LP "Bona Fides" as well as an EP. Both of these works came to underground critical acclaim in Laredo and partially in Mexico City. The band also worked on a music video project that managed to make a minor splash on Youtube.

The promotion of the newest EP entitled "Portraits" was composed of a string of shows performed in Laredo to which 150 to 200 people attended at each event.

The group is influenced by a wide variety of music. Therefore, the members seek not to become amazing musicians but rather the greatest composers, producers and thinkers they can possibly be.
