Volchok

     Volchok describes his sound as "music for thinkers". He has currently taken on the role of an indie hip-hop artist, but is constantly growing and experimenting with different areas of modern music, incorporating a style of alternative RnB into his latest unreleased material. In August 2014, Volchok released his debut album Cheater under indie label Lottery Records to the enthusiastic and favourable praise of his brand new fan base, friends and family. Attracting listeners from the far and near corners of the world, Cheater is a multi-layered story expressing the many raw emotions of a romantic relationship through the perspective of a self-aware individual laden with unreserved truths. 
     Volchok is a multi-instrumentalist who was introduced to music at the age of 10 through a guitar his father bought him. At 13, he began to compose his own songs and experiment with his style. He played with his own local band until age 18 when he joined alt. rock band Sick Seconds and recorded a full length album at The Orange Lounge in Toronto. Following the group's disbanding, Volchok began experimenting with the fusion of hip-hop and his own style, ergo creating Cheater.  
     With the experience and satisfaction of a completed album, Volchok looks to further broaden his horizons with music creation as well as promotion and become a staple in Toronto's culture and entertainment before entering the world stage.
