Biography

Pirassununga’s Volveles have been making good rock ‘n roll for over a year now! It was in March 2009 that the Verona brothers Pedro (vocals and bass) and Thiago (vocals and guitar) got together with Raphael (vocals and guitar) and Zeh (drums) to start composing. It was a successful gather, resulting two months later in the release of Não dá Mais and A Sorte (their début tracks, produced by Eduardo Recife).

The band gigged for a while and over time, having come up with four new songs, they decided to settle for another round in studio. By November of that very year, Volveles enlisted Chuck Hipolitho (another good fella from Pirassununga) to produce Andar de Menino, Punk de Butique, Popstar TV and Made in Brazil.

With six outstanding tracks on hand, 2010 was to be bright! Expectations proved right when, in March, their priorly recorded music video Não dá Mais hit MTV Brazil. On the top of it all was the release on July 24th of their first EP, at FunHouse (a São Paulo’s gig).

Thrilled with their steady progress, Volveles decided to keep on working on new songs; launching the ambitious “Volveles Live From Costella Studio” (an audio and video project for the release of four more brand-new songs). After his brilliant touches on the last tracks, Chuck was the obvious choice for the audio production. The art direction, shooting and editing were in charge of Manu Rocha and Otávio Sousa, who came up with a beautiful work; ensuring the band to continue their upward trajectory.
