Bio
Von Angel was born in Chicago, IL. Though his primary stylings are concentrated on a folk and bluegrass sound, Von Angel finds his diverse songwriting influences from performers and artists such as Slick Rick to Ezra Pound. He has recorded two records, “Wolf Bait Blues & Cigarette Ballads” and “Lithe, two solo LPs. They were released independently in June of 2010. Having such a prolific impulse, he is now working on a collective project titled "Hello, Brother Moose", as well as a solo EP.
