"Vou.. have now attempted to translate the soundtracks to their visual dance performances into an audio recording that can stand in its own. And to their credit, for the most part they've succeeded on this debut album- devised a creative fusion of traditional Fijian Music with mordern stylings and digital technology...' Seth Jordon - SONGLINES
Last weekend, I attended a performance at The Playhouse which blew me away. Having recently done the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, where the Soweto Choir is just one of the big names which enthral the thousands who converge there, it was not hard to imagine VOU wowing our European friends.
I thought VOU's performance merited the word awesome. Here were young, energetic, completely immersed performers whose movements and expressions took you along with them; the live music complemented the performance without being intrusive. They danced their hearts out, as if daring the uninitiated to leave unmoved. The thought and efforts evident from the costumes was icing on the cake. - The FijiTimes

Bio
Vou is a first for the small island of Fiji with a mixture of traditional and modern fijian instruments used to create a unique genre of pacific music.
In the fijian custom music and dance are one and VOU keeps this custom alive by accompanying music with dance which is an amazing spectacle when performed LIVE!
Vou dabbles with modern genres like hip hop, reggae, spoken word, jazz etc but with a Fijian/Pacific influence.
