"VOX VIOLINS IS 30 YEARS STRONG"

Over the past 30 years Vox Violins has collected piles of press - radio interviews - 45 rpm, Cassette and CD reviews - video copys of television interviews and performances - filled diarys during their journeys with music - written and co-written songs for recording projects - They have been studio musicians for others projects - Produced CDs and vinyl for compilations on both coasts, as well as productions for individual artists.
For the past 10 years they have experienced what it is like to live and work their music in a mostly local way. Therefore instead of playing only concerts and festivals they have diversified by offering their talents for sale in corporate settings, weddings (they have always played weddings) - Beth has continued to teach privately and taken on more than she used to while living locally only. Mark has continued to work in R&B/Funk music throughout the Niagara Region with several bands and on call with others. He also has been back stage manager for the entire Wine Festival which hires top end Canadian talent every Sept. in downtown St. Catharines. They have also been busy in the local arts community organising and producing shows at Brock University 4 years in a row called NIAGARA WEAVE which Mark produced and hosted showcasing a wide variety of local talent in a soft seater setting. They have video footage of these shows as well. The show was the inspiration for what is now an annual showcase here in Niagara called IN THE SOIL.
Vox Violins did get away occasionally over the past 10 years; Ireland to play some pubs booked around the Dingle Peninsula, they also got back to Dobrofest in Trnava, Slovakia in 2006. They continue to play in concert in events such as Niagara Wine Festival, the annual ECOFEST and other local arts shows in the area.

FOR THEM THIS EPK IS THEIR FIRST FORAY INTO THE EVER CHANGING WORLD OF SELF PROMOTION. THEY WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU SOME PRESS WHICH IS RELEVENT TO TODAY.
