Hace trés décadas los hermanos Ordóñez viajaron de su Honduras natal con su padre, cuando el fué llamado por Dios para realizar servicios en el ministerio en E.E.U.U.

Mientras que la necesidad de músicos creció en su iglesia, los hermanos se unieron para formar parte del grupo musical de la iglesia.

1998 los hermanos Ordóñez fueron llamados al ministerio y formar el grupo “VOZ EN ZION”. El grupo comenzó ministrando en eventos e iglesias locales, hasta tener giras en muchas otras ciudades de los E.E.U.U, Francia, Alemania y España. Siempre manteniendo la visión de presentar el evangelio a las almas y llevarlas a Cristo.

En 1999 se publicó el primer álbum, titulado “BENDECIRE A JEHOVA”. En este se acentuó su fondo y cultura distintiva, en sus raíces hispanas. Este proyecto acumuló miles de ventas en Norte, Centro y Suramérica, así como en Europa y Asia. Su música les propulsó al punto de tener el primer lugar en las estaciones de radio cristianas de habla hispana en los E.E.U.U, al mismo tiempo que eran escuchadas en España, Centro y Suramérica.

En el 2002 sale a la luz su primera grabación en vivo, “A NIGHT OF REVOLUTION”. Este surgió en un congreso de jóvenes de la iglesia, Misión El Jordán, en San Antonio, Texas, de la cual son miembros activos.

La más reciente grabación titulada: “ESPEJO” es un regreso a sus raíces Latinas. Una colección de canciones que se extienden desde Tejano hasta baladas y de Cumbias a Salsa, en la cual hay una colaboración del Dr. Rolando Ordóñez. Así como algunos himnos tradicionales que han sido de gran bendición a todos nosotros.

El mensaje impreso en su música ya ha tocado las vidas de mucha gente. Y les han dado esperanza y valor para comenzar o continúar su andar con Cristo.

V.E.Z. acentúa su misión de impactar a la cultura moderna, impulsando a las personas a establecerse en una iglesia local y ser miembros activos del cuerpo de Cristo.

The Ordóñez brothers traveled from their native Honduras as children when their father was called to serve in the ministry over three decades ago.

As the need for musicians grew at their church, the brothers merged together to form part of the church band.

In 1998 the brothers were called to the ministry to form the band “VOZ EN ZION”. The band went from ministering in local churches and youth events to touring parts of the U.S., France, Germany and Spain; all the while always sharing a common vision of reaching souls for Christ.

In 1999 V.E.Z. released their first studio production, “BENDECIRE A JEHOVA”. This landmark album emphasized their distinctive background and Hispanic culture. This project accumulated thousands of sales in North, Central and South America, as well as Europe and Asia. Their music propelled them to the number 1 spot on Spanish Christian radio stations in the U.S., while also being heard in Spain, Central and South America.

In 2002 “A NIGHT OF REVOLUTION” is recorded live at a youth conference, hosted by Mision El Jordan, where they are active members. This inspired new opportunities to share their music and talent with a more diverse audience.

“ESPEJO”, the latest release is a return to their Latin roots; the bands initial style. It’s a self-produced collection of songs ranging from Tejano to Ballads and Cumbias to Salsa. The powerful and reflective lyrics are a collaboration of the lead singer and their senior pastor Dr. Rolando Ordóñez. As well as some traditional hymns which have been of great blessing to us all.

The message in their music has touched the lives of many people giving them hope and courage to start and (or) continue their walk with Christ.

V.E.Z. emphasizes its mission to impact modern culture, urging listeners to root themselves in a local church and become a functioning member of the body of Christ.
