Ravi's First album was called Rocking Raagas which was released in 2003 and was on a similar concept but had a lounge feel to the Music.

“Bends” -
Bends is Ravi Iyer’s second Solo album after Rocking Ragas (2003). Trading complex chordal harmonies for more Indian bends, this album is all about sound straight from the soul - just the way traditional music has been. The tabla / percussion and bass guitar for constant companions, the project will also see some of the finest artistes being thrown into the blend to make a sound that is, well, as pure as it can get.
The Album was recorded as a part of three different performances at the Blue Frog, Mumbai (India) and features a number of artists from India and abroad like Clio Karabelias from Greece on the Harp, Jake Bloch From LA on the Drums, Sridar Parthasarathy on Mridangam, Rahul Phophali on Tabla, Pelle Kruse on the Blues harp, Rupak Dhamankar on Tabla, Crosby Fernandes on Bass, Sonu Sangameswaran on Bass.

Ravi Iyer
Born and brought up in Mumbai (India), Ravi Iyer has been actively involved with the music scene in India since mid 80's. He's been the driving force behind some of India’s biggest Rock Acts like Witchhammer (1980's), Vayu (2000 - 2008), and Para Vayu (2009 -2012). As a Guitar player he has been at the forefront of the Indian Rock Scene and has also performed with some of the greatest maestros in India like Ustad Fazal Qureshi (Ustad Zakir Hussain's Brother) and Sivamani . His is one of the most versatile guitar players who believe that there are no boundaries in music and genres.

Vravi Guitar Fusion
Started in the September of 2011, VRAVI - GUITAR FUSION was an idea whose time had come. The solo project is an honest attempt at extracting a completely pure and traditional sound out of the guitar while making it the protagonist of the act.
The Vravi Guitar Fusion Project allows Ravi to fuse elements of various genres with Indian Classical Compositions. This project also allows him to collaborate with musicians from different countries who have travelled to India. The Music is based mainly on Indian Classical Ragas and blended beautifully with western and other Indian instruments. The sound is Indian yet reaches out to an international audience.
