V Sparks

With the blood and glitter of 70's Glam Rock, V Sparks burst through Chicago's music scene with a sound and attitude that will surely steal your attention. Fronted by the extravagance of a lead singer who goes by the name of V, V Sparks are destroying the worlds perception and fear of Rock N' Roll. Whereas some artists today may offer up something unique trying to thrive on that alone, V Sparks also have the songs and hooks to back them up proving themselves as much more than merely a gimmick. Guitarist Prescott Kagan and V began writing songs together in a bedroom in the suburbs of Chicago in 1993, and when they realized they shared a rare musical connection, have never stopped writing since. From 2000-2003 together they formed the synth-rock band Dolari who created quite a buzz in Chicago, and have played with the likes of New York Dolls, OK Go, VHS or Beta, The Lovehammers, and more. V Sparks was born in the summer of 2003 at a time of personal loss, frustration and raging emotion for the duo. They transcribed all of their built up testosterone and estrogen into a glitzy mess of rock that you cant help identifying with and feel good about. They crossed paths with 2 like minded musical visionaries - ______ on Bass and Adam Long on kit completing the recipe, and the rest, is the future.
