VyOlet:
Stretching Hip Hop across genre lines, VyOlet is the new face of Hip Hop. This artist fuses Hip Hop, Rock, Soul and Rap into a style all her own. Not only is this diva a rapper, she also is a singer-songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist.
VyOlet is a prolific songwriter in several genres. She has a folk CD, a rock CD and now a Hip Hop CD. As the writer for the band Soultree, VyOlet has written and performed over 40 original songs. And, with over 200 shows under her belt, she is a musician’s musician.
With a ten year performance record, VyOlet is a professional on the stage. The live show is dynamic and spectacular. She performs with Ducado VeGA, a modern rock funk fusion artist. This blend of genres makes for an unusual show that crosses all boundaries in the music world.

Saying he's ahead of his time would be an understatement. The man, the music, the struggle, the victory are all pages in this book of melodies. Recently we have heard several mainstream hits that bare a close resemblance to VeGA coined songs. While these mainstream songs are recent hits VeGA tapped these sounds as far back as 1998. Innovator? I think so. Ahead of his time? The man who writes, produces, arranges, and performs all of his own music has never been behind. Needless to say he's always been a step ahead. The clubs are currently spinning “Bell Ringa” in regular rotation. One club DJ stated that she plays it at 1am with all the hot songs and it holds the dance floor like any other top 40 song. Another club DJ said that “Bell Ringa” gets just as many spins as the big boys…especially on weekends. VyOlet’s songs have been used in several independent films and soundtracks.
