Born and raised in inner city Detroit, a young vyzion360 wouldn't be caught dead without her headphones, a pen, and a notebook. She's has been expressing herself through spoken word since she was 14 years old, but has been appearing on stages all her life through various endeavors into music and theatre.

While riding the #16 - Dexter Downtown bus route, vyzion360 was immersed in the sounds of John Coltrane, Billy Holiday, Gil Scott-Heron, Saul Williams, 2Pac, Common, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli. She was never too far from copies of her favorite poets' works, including Nikki Giovanni, Yusef Komunyakaa, June Jordan, and Sonia Sanchez.

In later years, vyzion360 pursued her college education and developed her talents as a spoken word artist. She's seen several slam competitions, publications, and even literary awards for her print works. Her performances have been sought by venues throughtout the Midwest.

Later, the pursuit of a military career led to her current deployment in Iraq. Now, more than ever, and armed with a perspective from the front lines, vyzion360 has much to say.
