The story of Waking Alice
by Michael Garcia

The story begins in a time long since past. 'Tis a tale similar to ones told by other such minstrels but 'tis not theirs that we concern ourselves with this day. The two disciples of the stone(rock) ,Brandon Brewer and Derrick Anderson , toiled away at their daily tasks of song craft. Forming a campaign of allies by which to make their marks on the land. By day they worked carving out a sound fit for the gods and under the glass moonlight they forged their riffs. However, many a man can be weighed down by the apathy of their kinsmen and feeling the need to shed those who'd refuse to carry their loads the two searched on for kindred spirits. Meanwhile Michael Garcia, experiencing much of the same pitfalls in his quest for the power, searched diligently for new compatriots. The three crossed paths and forged a new alliance and they called it Waking Alice. Having now all the essential elements for the quest, save one. They would need a fourth to balance out the group. Three is strong but can only hold for so long before it is breached. Legend foretold of one who sat alone waiting to be awakened by three; one who had the ability to bring the thunder. His name would be Coady Mars. After much deliberation the three discovered the magic spell to awaken Coady. "Hey, do you want to play bass for Waking Alice?" Ah yes, many a brave man has uttered these words before but never lived to see the birth of a new day. With their team intact Waking Alice set forth to conquer the world.

Author's Note: The above is just something that I felt would be a little different than your everyday boring band biography. The truth is forming a band is not that exciting. But what is exciting is the music that we create and the energy of our stage show. Ultimately you will have to see to believe.
