Bio

Rita Coolidge is perhaps best known for her string of hits ("Higher and Higher", "The Way You Do The Things You Do", the James Bond track "All Time High", and "We're All Alone") as well as her two Grammy Awards. Priscilla Coolidge is a renowned singer/songwriter who has recorded with a Who's Who of music, including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Luther Vandross, Stephen Stills and Robbie Robertson, and has penned tunes recorded by her sister Rita, Anita Baker, Kim Carnes, Emmy Lou Harris, and Maurice White of Earth, Wind and Fire. Billboard magazine twice named her the Best Female Vocalist of the Year. Her daughter, Laura Satterfield, has a voice described by Robbie Robertson as "One in five million". A songwriter whose first single "I Don't Walk On Water" was featured in the film "Made In America", Satterfield has recently completed a solo album of her own material due later this year.

What started out as a promise to their grandmother has transformed into an unimaginably successful labor of love. the group recorded their new album, Unbearable Love, with much of the same passion and emotion that filled their debut. The stunning harmonies that can only come from voices within a same family dominate the record, drawing the listener in to the tapestry of stories told within the songs. Produced by Walela, with additional co-production by Geoffrey Gordon (who also provided percussion on both of their albums), Unbearable Love takes the trio's vocals to new heights, creating an ethereal and emotional treasure of their own American Indian heritage, contemporary musical forte, and rich family history.
