Walking On Water

W.O.W. was founded by Tre Reeves in March of 2009 as a means to fill many voids in the music industry. As a Christian, he wanted to create music that was edgy, lyrically sophisticated, spiritual and above all, NOT CORNY! Music that could inspire Christians to grow in God, yet appeal to people that know nothing about Christ. This was a bold ambition that needed like-minded and talented musicians who weren’t afraid to do something different.

The talented and anointed Tyler Stannard and Lawrence Haskin help form the foundation as the core members and co-founders of the band. Many musicians have shared their time and talents with the band, but the band found consistency with bassist Ben Mason and guitarists Dave Giraldo and Victor Encarnacion, Jr.

Walking on Water is derived from the story of Jesus walking on the sea and telling Peter to come to him. Peter was certainly afraid, but his faith in Christ was greater than his fear. The complete essence of the band is overcoming the fear of not being accepted and/or understood . When you walk with Christ, you never walk alone.
