Bio
We have a great story! I, Barbara, am a music teacher for grades K-8. A couple years ago, my schoolwide annual show was a rock and roll theme. To create a more "community" feel, I recruited some of the dads that I knew or had heard played various instruments. As it turned out, we had such a good time playing together getting ready for the show, we ended up staying together as a band. It's now been nearly 3 years and our little music club is going strong. We average about one gig a month, which is great since we all have day jobs and families. It's a great way to share mid-life crises and, fortunately, we have supportive families that allow us this great outlet. But there's a little offshoot to this group and that is that I, and a friend, elizaBeth Benson write songs together which 256 has helped and continues to help record.
