War Party

Take a couple of chords, an urgent chorus, a few drinks and put it all on stage. It might seem like a familiar recipe, and in a way it is, but just like you're not going to complain about a good whiskey because it lacks novelty, you're not going to begrudge War Party when they drop your jaw with some chords you've heard before. Feral yet tightly controlled, War Party have invented a sound referred to variously as Freaky Cowboy Punk, Evil Disco and Cow Punk - the songs have clear targets, ideas and motivations and are delivered in a decidedly unpolished and freaked out way.

War Party played its first Gig on August 5, 2012.
