When Warren Silvers sings, you know it's coming from deep within the man’s country heart. The
Nashville-based, award-winning singer/songwriter is fast making a name for himself with unvarnished a
nthems that call out every imaginable experience and emotion. Sometimes, life can only be told in
Born and raised in the South as part of the Silvers clan, Warren’s heritage is an Americana melding of
our nation’s history. The Silvers were among the first settlers joining Daniel Boone in homesteading
the Kentucky territory and fighting in Boone’s militia during the Revolutionary War. But the family tree
also branches off into outlaw territory. The notorious Western gang leader Jesse James and his
brother, Frank, are family. As is Warren’s great-great-great aunt, Frankie Silvers, whose notoriety as
the first woman hanged in North Carolina for murder brought to life ballads, books and plays.
Sadly, Warren has faced overwhelming obstacles growing up and during much of his adult life. Still,
Warren never wavered from his dreams of making music and finding peace. He has accomplished
both with his newest album, COUNTRY THINGS.
Warren’s life journey is one of heartache, pain and turmoil. There’s a long, sad story behind the tattoos
and scars; you can unearth it in the lyrics of his song "Country's Darkside." But always a survivor who
beats life’s tough odds, Warren chooses to take the high road and remain optimistic because he
believes in the hope of each tomorrow … and in having a rockin’ good time. All of those life themes are
rolled into the 10-track COUNTRY THINGS.
Having played in Country, Southern Rock, Blues and Rock n’ Roll bands since age 16, Warren has
developed a staggering style and catalog of songs. Having profound influence on Warren’s music are
such Outlaw artists as Hank Williams, Jr., Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and the Charlie Daniels
True to his outlaw roots, Warren lives life and makes music the way he wants – no apologies. With a sound all his own and a stage show that leaves fans screaming for more, Warren delivers in a way not often seen in the genre.
Many music fans are demanding a return to country’s down-home roots. They’re finding it and more with
Warren Silvers.
