An experimental project based on the creation of MUSIC for the sake of art and an extreme appeal for audience reaction, Warren Steele is an artist that is interested in what, to him, is real: "the forgotten expressions of the experiences true to life". This along with his alternative attitude towards creativity, "expressive" live act, and music that has been described as "passionate wailings of self doubt or endowment" has earned Mr. Steele a quickly growing fanbase and a reputation for fronting one of the more unique and original independent groups in the underground scene; and with a review entitled "warren...originality at it,s best", the group's participation in garageband.com's review competition in late 2005, which led to14 garageband awards, has won some authenticity for this acclaimed originality.
A growing fan base in place, an independently recorded debut album ("songs for lost soul,s" released on Halloween '06), and two small east coast tours to date have led Warren back into the studio with ambitions toward album #2... and possibly #3 as well??? When recently asked this holiday season ('08) about the second album's progress thus far, he had nothing but good things to say and mentioned a keen interest in extending the studio stay. "This session has completely changed the way I think about art and and awoken my interest in music!!! I hope it never ends!!! We are recording tracks for close to 50 songs already. I hope we can stick it out to finish them all and just put out a couple!! Two birds with one stone feels more like two stones with one bird!!! I'm having TOO much fun" So does this mean that the "LIVE" scene will be free of Mr. Steele for a while to come??? Of coarse not!! Two shows a month have already been announced until May 2009 and a small Summer tour to support the next release is already in the works. but yea, it,s like what the late Hunter S.Thompson said: "When the going gets weird, the weird turns pro"
