Bio
Formed in 2010, the rap group is best known for their inventive style and engrossing lyricism, as well as their uniquely dream-like beats. The group consists of 2 MCs, Sulaymon and BrotherOfMoses, and their producer, WaMoo Papez. The expansive lyricism of the MCs coalesces the city and the scholar.
Their producer, WaMoo Papez's, whips up beats that often test the boundaries of hip hop. His chromatic beats are almost manic clashes of echoes, samples and loud drum arrangements that sound similar to the work of Slowidve, My Bloody Valentine, and Flying Lotus.
Warrior Monks will focus on live performances for the 2012-2013 winter season.
